Margaret have taken a leadership role in providing Automated External Defibrillators (AED) through PULSE - Pittsburgh United for Life-Saving Emergencies – which maintains a strong and growingnetwork of AED placements throughout Downtown Pittsburgh and across 88 surrounding municipalities. The PULSE mission is to aid in the survival rate for victims of sudden cardiac arrest by providing the necessary training, maintenance, and community awareness enabling the placement sites to sustain their effective use.
