Session 2: Making Decisions that Align with Your Values

St. Margaret Foundation recognizes the overwhelmed nature of today’s reality - juggling work, family, life, health issues, aging parents, mental health issues, other concerns. The stress is even worse when you feel stuck with no end in sight. Have you ever felt you are being tossed around by racing thoughts and turbulent emotions?

We are aware of how this affects your ability to think and be happy. It can affect your health, eating habits and sleep too. We are also aware of how debilitating stress and run-away emotions are for our dedicated staff who show up ready to serve every day no matter what else is going on.

Each 30 minute session of The Mindful Break holds a 15 minute mindfulness video on topics such as: staying focused, your purpose, eliminating head trash and more. This is followed by a 15 minute meditation to help you feel revitalized, refreshed and renewed right away.

The Instructor: Mary Lee Gannon is the president of St. Margaret Foundation, a Certified Association Executive (CAE), International Coach Federation Certified Coach (ACC), a Professional Certified Coach graduate of Duquesne University, alumnus of the UCLA Mindful Awareness Practices Program and the Harvard Medical School and McLean Hospital Coaching in Medicine & Leadership Conference, and scholarship recipient to the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute at Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership – created at Google. She has been teaching mindfulness and meditation for 10 years.
