St. Margaret has three family health centers in the under-resourced communities of Lawrenceville, Bloomfield Garfield and New Kensington where the Foundation helps with transportation to appointments, medication, Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid addiction, medical devices, behavioral health services and more. Our patient access programs offer under-resourced patients for medical equipment, prescription medication, transportation, interpreters, temporary nursing care, etc. Click here to learn more.

 

We are there for healthcare employees facing challenges in a pandemic, natural disaster, fire, or acute medical illness. Also eligible are employees who have received a shut off or eviction notice from a utility company, a mortgage company or landlord or are two months behind on these bills. Funeral and travel expenses for the death of a spouse, child, or parent are also covered. Click here to learn more.

We are there for patients going through chemotherapy with costs like utilities, expensive medication, and transportation to and from treatment. Contact us to learn more.

We are there for students in the St. Margaret School of Nursing are adult students who are trying to launch a second career. Many have children and can barely keep up with their studies, work and family. 

Funding for these programs comes from donor support.
